This product requires Microsoft Office or Excel to run the templates. The single user version of this product is shipped with the name of the individual (registered user), company name, address & phone number hard coded into all of the reports.

Only one persons name is allowed on this version. This protects the employer against an employee leaving the firm with a copy of the software, as all the reports will be generated with the name of the individual and the firm, etc. This also protects us against unauthorized duplication of our software, to the extent that the individual users name will appear on every report. This also allows us to hold down the cost of our software for everyone as each advisor must buy and pay for their own copy of the software. We have found that our free technical support is used in proportion to the number of users of the software in the firm. The single user version can be copied to your computer and you laptop for field or home work. It can also be copied to your assistants computer. Technical support is supplied to you and one assistant.

The product comes with a manual and samples of all the reports and charts which many advisors use as a selling tool with clients, to show the depth of reporting they can supply to the prospective client. If you have downloaded our demo you can view all of the reports on your computer by clicking Start/Programs/Money Minders Software/Financial Planning AU/ then select the section you wish to view. You can also view them here by clicking in the right column.

We usually recommend that the customer start with a single user copy of the program and then upgrade it to multiple copies, or a site license after they have had a chance to use the program. It is our corporate policy to credit the full amount of the purchase to any subsequent purchase of the same product within ninety days of the original invoice.

For less than five advisors it is more cost effective to purchase single user versions. There is a 10% discount on orders of 3 or more copies shipped on the same order. In total this results in a saving of over $120.00 for three or more copies.

We offer a site license version of this product for offices with five or more advisors. We will need to have the name for each persons imprint. We assume they will all have the same imprint on lines 2 to 5 of the imprinting file, otherwise let us know. Generally you need a site license for each licensed advisor. There is no charge for an assistant but the advisors name does appears on each report.

Users of the site license package (5 or more users) have the ability to change between registered users from only one software installation. When installed the Setup Options screen appears. Select the tab called "Imprints" and you will see the list of your Registered Users of the software. Click on any Registered User name in the list to display the full imprint on the right of the list. Your computer will remember the selected user until it is changed. You may change the selected imprint at anytime from the Menu system, or from Excel. Where an assistant is preparing reports for more than one advisor this feature is much simpler then two or more installations. This software package can be installed on a Network or on a stand alone basis.


The download and installation process is simpler for our Site license edition. You only have to download one Registered User file for the firm instead of a Registered User file for each user.

Financial Institutions & Other Larger Firms

For 25 or more advisors in one or more branches we offer a custom version for installation on a network. Some financial offices have this at each branch and others on a central wide area network. We supply the templates configured for the installation of their choice. It should be kept in mind that Microsoft Excel is not a network product in the sense that Access is that allows multiple users to use the program at the same time. This means that if the Data.xls file is being used only the latest person using it will have access to the data posted. Others can open a copy of any template and work directly in it. It is therefore more efficient to install the product on the advisors personal desktop rather than the network. However we have financial institutions operating nicely with both methods. This version comes with one manual and the organization reproduces their own copies for their staff, or uses the online manual.

On all versions we offer 1 year of free technical support, and the "Annual Software License" with updates for 1 year after the month of purchase. We offer our "Annual Software License" with updates after that period at a cost of $215.00 per year for a single user. Lower rates for additional users in the same office.
